Check this out: NextPage, a Draper, Utah, company has created a software that allows businesses implement a project risk management system that allows them to track the location of all documents relating to the business whether they are on company computers, have been sent via email, are located on an employees personal computer, or even on an external USB drive. By giving companies tight control over all their documents, it will ultimately save companies millions if they are ever sued or facing regulatory action because they’ll be able to produce thorough and accurate documentation of all company documents.

This year my husband and I are making a resolution to get out of debt. The first step in this process was of course to budget accordingly.
The second was to earn more income to pay off tens of thousands of dollars in escalated debt. We both work full-time and getting a second job sounded exhausting.
Instead, I am going to work part-time selling items on eBay. I know many people do it full-time, using a dropship service to supply products. My husband bought me eBay Business All-in-One Desk Reference for Dummies for Christmas so I can immediately get started on my new business. I can’t wait for my new business to get started and to be completely debt-free!

For the new year, make a resolution to better yourself intellectually. If you’re a student, or just want to make a career change, consider getting an internship to boost your success in a new career. If you go to college, your local career and internship center can help you find an internship. If not, or for more help, read The Intern Files: How to Get, Keep, and Make the Most of Your Internship. It’s a great guide and student resource.
For those looking to go into the difficult world of radio, TV broadcasting, or film, check out the Get a Mentor program to help you land an internship and set you up with a one-on-one mentor. I read a fun article the other day about the reactions that people have to various types of music when put on hold. They explain what type of music is best liked between genders and among age groups. They also studied what type of music is best used to reduce the perceived time that customers have been on hold.
This information may help if you’re planning on adding an on hold marketing message or music to your company phones. Choosing the right kind of message and music can increase your sales and reduce the time when people hang up.

Another post about dropshipping and online retail businesses. If you’re deciding amongst dropshippers, check out this great comparison chart. It breaks down the qualifications, eBay compatibility, support, and price of each dropshipper.
Overall, Doba dropship company comes out on top but the chart has reviews and links to all the dropshippers if you want to find out more about each company.

Me too…
Check out Career Match, a fascinating read about finding an occupation that you are passionate about. Currently in the midst of a career change myself (or a mid-life crisis, as my wife attests), the book was instrumental in helping me pinpoint a job that would not only bring me satisfaction but success as well.
My mother thinks I should get a truck driving job, just like my pops has had for years. My brother-in-law suggested a Chippendale’s dancer, much to my wife’s chagrin. Last but not least, my sister encouragingly suggested going to work for a competitor of my former employer.
Whatever I decide on doing, I felt heartened after reading this book, which surprisingly felt personal and customized as I was reading it. Whatever it was, I would high recommend it to anyone who is struggling to find the career that best suits them.

After a short time of selling products on eBay, I decided to pursue it full-time. I talked to some other sellers to get some ideas how I could increase my profits from a side income to a full-time income. I had several people suggest that I sell a dropship product.
It sounded simple enough. After browsing a dropshipper’s products, I could choose the retail mark-up and list the product on my auction site. As soon as a consumer bought the product, I ordered it from the dropshipper and they took care of the shipping. It would save me time by not having to deal with shipping or returns.
Being a cautious person, I decided to further investigate how beneficial dropshipping would be for my business, if it was the most cost-efficient way of ordering products. I picked up the book Ebay Inventory the Smart Way, which was a simple guide to sourcing products and making money online. I decided to try using a dropshipper, and now I make a full-time income that was better than my previous job by selling on eBay. Dropshipping has made my life easier and I love the flexible schedule being an eBay seller gives me.

Since I am nearing retirement, I have been thinking of becoming a truck driver and traveling the country with my spouse. I wanted to learn more about the industry before I applied for any truck driving jobs or paid for my CDL, so I picked up the book Bumper to Bumper: The Complete Guide to Tractor-Trailer Operations by Mike Byrnes and Associates.
It covered almost every aspect of the driving industry. After reading it, I decided to become a trucker. When I was in CDL training, I was the most knowledgeable person in the class. This book definitely gave me the ground knowledge to get started in the industry. I would recommend it for anyone that wants to work in the trucking industry or for anyone that even associates with truckers from time to time.
